I got much inspired with the excellent teachings of Tamil Literature, especially from the Higher Secondary School teacher Pandit Thiru P.SOUNDHARA RAJAN, (1979-'81) only. He clearly taught how to distinguish the poetical words in literature to know the exact meaning of the poem. Even though my major subject was History with Archaeology, later in my M.Phil Degree course, I happened to do my research on Sangam Literature on the topic, "Irrigation & Water Management in Ancient Tamil Nadu - up to the 900 A.D", whereas, no one was ready to do research in very ancient topics, and I did it with much interest, and even today I do research works in Siddhar Literary works.
